  • Crayon Works For the last year or so, I've had the privilege of enjoying great coffee in my local community at a place called Element. Shop owner, Mike Colston, and his team of baristas have graciously spread their tables with slabs of paper every morning so that the local creatives can find their release through crayon. It has been a lot of fun revisiting 'the original medium', that I became familiar with in childhood. Below is a selection of my works, and some of the people I've been blessed to collaborate with.     2012 Character Design, Drawing, Illustration
  • Gospel Light Illustrations (2011) Illustrations for Gospel Light - to be used in a variety of printed and digital mediums.     2012 Illustration, Graphic Design, Storytelling
  • Elephanitis Out of nowhere, it suddenly became vital for me to draw elephants. Elephant after elephant- I would draw them in all shapes and sizes. It didn't take long before a character developed, pleading for the company of friends, which is when the donkey and snake showed up. The drawings below are a sampling of my favorites to emerge from my 'elephanitis' period.     2011 Illustration, Cartooning, Character Design
  • Information and Icons 8 page Course Description booklet for Cheetah Learning. To make the content more visually engaging, I created over 40 custom icons to aid in the process of communicating with the reader.     2011 Illustration, Graphic Design, Typography

  • Visual Communication Design 8th grade For My Senior Arts Capstone Project, My partner and I opted to format a visual communication design curriculum for 8th graders, and then get in the classroom and teach for 8 weeks. Our once a week, for 8 week sessions covered illustration, perspective, custom lettering, identity development, composition, and graphic design principles. We were thrilled to get with the students each week to share our passion for thoughtful design. We found that they were quite enthused as well. By the end of the session, a local print shop (thank you Eastwind Screenprinting!) agreed to print out 40 tshirts for us for free. We created the shirt design compiling scanned images created by each of the 34 students contained within a larger composition of our own.     2010 Graphic Design, Print Design, Design
  • Riverland Illustrations A set of Images I created for online publication at PiDesign for Riverland Resorts.     2011 Illustration, Design, Digital Art
